Basic Cricket Skills and Exercises

It's important that your child has a basic understanding of the game of cricket so they can enjoy it and be a good player. This will help them develop a passion for it and keep them active.

  1. Good hand eye co-ordination
  2. The ability to throw and catch a ball
  3. Good batting and bowling technique
  4. The ability to concentrate for sometimes long periods of time

Below we’ll practice exercises that develop skills 1-2. Good concentration is a skill that can only be developed over time.
